Praise to God that Rita is doing better. She still has a drain for infection but it’s drawing out almost nothing. Her white blood cell count is still at 11 and should be at 9. But praise that she is at home where I can administer 3 antibiotics a day. No fever.

Had major back surgery July 2 that turned out to be more complicated than planned. Having a lot of continued post surgical pain, especially nerve pain. Then 2 weeks after surgery, I developed a wound infection which has complicated recovery. This has been tough.
